PORNOGRAFFITTI / Extreme
About Album
Riding on the success of "More Than Words", Extreme II: Pornograffitti became the breakthrough-album for the Bostonian rockers Extreme.
Carried by the silky Funk Metal riffs of guitar god Nuno Bettencourt and vocal gymnastics of Gary Cherone, Extreme took the world by storm following their second album in 1990. Combining Glam with Pop, Extreme carved out a niche for themselves propelled by a lot of MTV play for "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted". The album tells a broader story than both hits: powerful Glam with out-of-this world solos are the bread and butter of this album.
The immaculate production of these catchy and intricately layered songs just screams for a brand new 180 gram vinyl treatment.
