The title of the album refers to a series of concerts played in darkness, in tribute to bassist Jasper Hoiby's sightless sister. "Walking Dark" is a studio recording from Copenhagen, unlike the previous, breakthrough album "Alive". Melody-lines in the album are played by Hoiby and pianist Ivo Neame and accompanied by drummer Anton Eger.
