Settled in Amsterdam, the four different members of Arifa are from Turkey, Iraq, Romania and Netherlands. Their music combines modern electronic beats with Arabic, Anatolian and Balkan influences and reflects a passion for improvisation. Arifa started its career in 2010 and their debut album Beyond Babylon was awarded "The Best World Music Album".
