Danilo Rea is an Italian jazz pianist born in 1957. He made his debut with Rome Trio (with Roberto Gatto and Enzo Pietropaoli) in 1975. Rea has performed with, among others, Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Phil Woods, Art Farmer, Curtis Fuller and Kenny Wheeler.

Flavio Boltro belongs to the top league of Italian trumpeters alongside players such as Paolo Fresu and Enrico Rava.
