max.bab is Max von Mosch on saxophone, Benedikt Jahnel on piano, Benny Schäfer on bass and Andi Haberl on drums from Munich. All are members of the BundesJugendJazzOrchester, are born around 1980. Besides max.bab Benny Schäferis also a member of Balloon Pilot, Das Rote Gras, Fjoralba Turku Quartett and Geoff Goodmans Curiosities of Nature and he has collaborated with Max Frankl, Alex Czinke, Andrea Hermenau, Harald Rüschenbaum and others. Andi Haberl is also a member of the bands the notwist, Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, Masha Qrella und Jersey and he has collaborated with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Johannes Enders, Myron Walden, Bobby Hutcherson, Charlie Mariano and others.
