23rd Akbank Jazz Festival's promising line up presents Leszek Możdżer, who is considered as one of the most important figues in today's Polish jazz scene, on October 23 at Akbank Sanat. On October 24, one of the most important representatives of double bassists today, Christian McBride will be performing with his trip at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall. Jazz lovers will be meeting Patricia Barber in Babylon on October 26 and they will get the chance to watch Claudio Filippini live on November 1 at Akbank Sanat. 

Kudsi Erguner will also be performing with his special act “Nefes” Duo on October 25 at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall as part of the festival. Neyzen Kudsi Erguner introduced reed flute, the main instrument of Sufi music, as a jazz instrument, and this time he will be performing with German jazz pianist Michael Wollny and percussion master Hamdi Akatay on this special event.
